Previously known as Al Ghurair Centre, it is owned by the Al Ghurair Group and was the first shopping mall in Dubai, built in 1983. It has 470 thousand square feet of retail space across two levels with over 200 stores, as well as outdoor parking and a multi-storey covered car park facility for over 2 thousand cars. Its shops include a supermarket (Spinneys), fashion outlets (French Connection, Guess, Bossini), department stores (Bhs, Jashanmal, Max), electronics (Plug-Ins), furniture (2XL), restaurants (Chowking, Nando's, Cinnabon), children's play area (Fun Corner) and an 8-screen cinema (Grand Cinemas). The mall is also connected to office towers and a serviced apartment tower.
